Zanardi Fonderie involved its employees in an event designed to offer useful tools for better managing their finances and facing the future with greater awareness.
On 24 July, at Area Exp in Cerea, staff from Zanardi Fonderie gathered for “A portfolio of ideas”, a day designed to provide tools, knowledge and opportunities for discussion to help them face the future with greater awareness.
At the heart of the initiative is the theme of financial education, explored alongside Matteo Faletra and Vittorio Gianotti—founders of Tereso, an organization dedicated to making financial literacy more accessible, practical, and aligned with people’s needs.

The aim was not to provide ready-made solutions, but to encourage reflection and offer useful tools to better understand one’s relationship with money, develop a more informed approach to managing financial resources, and tackle decisions affecting personal and family well-being with greater peace of mind. Through practical examples, topics for discussion and opportunities for dialogue, participants had the chance to explore issues that are often perceived as complex but are fundamental to everyday life.
An overview of business performance and upcoming challenges for Zanardi Fonderie
In line with Tereso’s mission, we share the conviction that has always guided our approach to business: professional and personal growth are closely interconnected. Investing in people means not only developing technical skills but also providing knowledge and tools capable of generating value well beyond the workplace.

The day also served as an important opportunity for sharing and transparency across the entire organisation. Before the training session, the results for the first half of the year were presented, providing an overview of the company’s performance and the main challenges facing the sector in the coming months. The results of the first staff survey carried out at Zanardi Fonderie were also shared, with the aim of highlighting the positive signs that had emerged and identifying new opportunities for improvement.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to update staff on the extension of the Model 231 and on ongoing initiatives relating to health and safety at work, issues which represent fundamental pillars of the company’s development and commitment to responsibility.
“Financial planning, whether in private life or in business, is not merely a control tool, but a factor that enables us to turn objectives into tangible results and to face the future with greater awareness and stability. The event was also an important opportunity for dialogue and transparency. We shared the first-half performance with the entire workforce, which confirms Zanardi’s ability to grow and demonstrate resilience despite the difficulties currently facing European industry and the manufacturing sector. Similarly, we openly presented the results of the employee engagement survey, taking note of the positive signs emerging from the organisation and recognising the areas where we can continue to improve,” says Riccardo Andrea Zanardi, Vice-President & CEO of Zanardi Fonderie.
The establishment of an in-house desk for financial guidance and consulting
To build on the topics covered during the day and turn the training into a practical and lasting opportunity, Zanardi Fonderie has also set up an in-house financial guidance and advice service for all staff.

The initiative was set up with the aim of providing an accessible point of contact for those wishing to explore issues relating to the management of their financial resources or to receive expert advice on specific needs. The way it works is simple: we listen to people’s needs and refer them to the most suitable adviser, identifying the expertise best suited to the requirements that have emerged.
The helpdesk represents a further step in the process launched with ‘A Portfolio of Ideas’ and confirms Zanardi Fonderie’s commitment to promoting a culture of awareness that is not limited to a single training session, but continues over time through practical tools designed to provide support and guidance.
