This event is a knowledge-sharing activity promoted in partnership with NetCastPL4.0, an international research and innovation initiative established to strengthen collaboration between AGH University of Krakow (Poland), the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) through ICMATE, and Aalto University (Finland). The NetCastPL4.0 project aims to advance scientific excellence, technological capabilities and sustainable innovation in the field of advanced casting solutions.

A key highlight of the event will be the presentation of innovative products developed in collaboration with industry partners, demonstrating how advanced material solutions can be successfully translated into real-world applications:

  • For ADI applications, the Sales Manager of Zanardi Fonderie will share practical examples and market-driven success stories, demonstrating the opportunities enabled by austempered ductile iron across multiple sectors;
  • Eisenwerk Brühl will present a successful case involving AGI, illustrating how material innovation can generate value in challenging industrial environments.
  • Härenviks will showcase an innovative component developed with IDI technology, highlighting the benefits achieved in terms of performance and application requirements.
