We dress for work, we support inclusion: QUID’s project for Zanardi Fonderie

by | Oct,2025

The new workwear has been produced by a social enterprise in Verona that offers job opportunities to vulnerable people.

Zanardi Fonderie takes a concrete step towards a more equitable and sustainable future by choosing to collaborate with QUID, a Verona-based social enterprise that transforms textile surpluses into job opportunities and inclusion.
A collaborative project that combines style, ethics, and social impact.

Inclusion, sustainability, and safety culture woven together

With a concrete commitment to social inclusion, QUID offers training and work to vulnerable people and women at risk of exclusion. Today, it has 150 employees from 21 different countries, aged between 19 and 67.

It is precisely from the expert hands of QUID that the T-shirts and sweatshirts for the employees of Zanardi Fonderie’s production departments are created, along with work bags and backpacks designed for internal gifting initiatives.

Each garment is more than just clothing: it is a visual code that communicates roles and responsibilities within the factory.

The color identifies the task:

  • Gray for department managers (group leaders)
  • Blue for shift leaders (team leaders)
  • Black for operators
  • Red for the maintenance team

In addition, there are embroidered symbols that indicate involvement in safety management:

  • The helmet for supervisors
  • The fire extinguisher for the firefighting team
  • The green cross for those trained in first aid

A simple and immediate system that transforms clothing into a visual communication tool for safety. QUID supports us in our most ambitious goal: to become a zero-accident company.

These garments represent a tangible sign of a shared commitment: inclusion, sustainability, and a culture of safety.

Social sustainability: the redemption of talent

Environmental sustainability: giving fabrics a second life

QUID designs and manufactures garments using high-quality surplus fabrics, avoiding waste and making the most of existing resources. In this project, 389 meters of fabric have been given a new lease of life, avoiding disposal and becoming part of a virtuous cycle.

A commitment that embraces change

With this initiative, Zanardi Fonderie confirms its vision: doing business also means generating social and environmental value. Because every choice, even that of a work garment, can start a new story of rebirth.
